Sorry about the long delay between postings. But we're back with a doozy.
Jaron's been working on some new tunes for worship. What do ya'll think of this one?
What's really revealing about this song is that it reminds us: Jesus is like a "Mountie".
That's quality.
Now..please...somebody sing "It's a small world after all" so I can get this tune out of my head!
ReplyDeleteI now have a crazy urge to polka!
ReplyDelete*ZAP*
Are you losin' it since Melissa will be gone so long? I'm a little worried about you. Please don't show up to worship in a white tux with a blue ruffle shirt Sunday.
ReplyDeleteWith love, from Long Beach

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but the lead singer strangely reminds me of Bill Buttlar (circa 1982) - praising Jesus with rock and roll
ReplyDeleteHow did I not send this to you when I saw it a week ago? I think I was going to compile a bunch of them and share all at once, cuz believe you me, there's a treasure trove of this goodness out there on the internets. I sent some to Peter and Tracy as a suggestion for special music some Sunday.
ReplyDeleteIf you need a new sermon takeaway, here you go: "He is like a Mountie, he always gets his man. And he'll zap you anyway he can. ZAP!"
One other thing: You have a blog?
ReplyDeleteAnother fine example of using a grand piano as a set piece to provide a safety zone for back-up singers rather than a musical instrument.
ReplyDeleteI'd want a safety zone too if I had to share a stage with that dude singing.
ReplyDeleteYikes.
I think the casio bass really makes the song. When the band sings it they need those costumes too.
