How can you not vote for a man who can do this
On a legal note: This is not necessarily a political endorsement. Though my wife, who does not work for the church and is not bound by government rules that prohibit churches (and their staff) from using their non-profit status in a way that might influence church members to vote a certain way, has placed an Obama 08 sticker on the dash of our Subaru.
haha you have to love lark news! My friend is one of the two guys who does it. It began as like a hobby but now it is their full time job. How fun would that be?
ReplyDeleteOn a side note, Yen and I are Obama fans, BUT we have always been torn with the political/christianity thing. Ive been reading a book by Chris Haw and Shane Claiborne which has been dynamite... some of it in a very tough way.. it is called, Jesus for President. Id like to hear what your opinions are on it.. if you read it can we talk about it? =) It might be fun. Take care my friend.
Scott,
ReplyDeleteHow reliable is Lark News? I've never heard of it before and if it weren't for YOU being the one promoting it, I probably wouldn't believe it! The way it's written shows a lot of parallels to Christ... That's almost makes it scary in my mind.
However, all that set aside- everything else I've heard from/about Obama makes me a big fan! Glad you and Melissa are too!
To be clear, Lark News uses parody, extreme sarcasm, and creative imagination to help Christians laugh at themselves (and lets be honest, there's alot about us that is worth laughing at!) There is nothing (to my knowledge) that is actually factual on Lark News.
